Three guys go on vacation with a camper. They take a girl with them, Viola, who happens to carry some stolen coins with her. The boys are all three from different regions and all of them have a different approach to get this the girl of their dreams. Nonetheless, she has the last word about it.The story of the coins was rather nonsensical. But then this film is not about a story, this is about chemistry between characters. And there was great chemistry. Three gentle guys and one tough girl (Asia Argento) mock the macho culture in a very cheerful matter. A nude beach, a bus, a farm, country lanes. With the right characters you don't need much more.
No, it is not really a good film, in the sense that it is not at all groundbreaking. But it is entertaining. Because it's so intensely Italian. A lot of food, sexy stuff, vivid characters saying 'daidaidai'. Obviously, one has to be sucker for Italian culture like myself to enjoy it this way.
So if you have to choose between one and a half hour being bored or to watch lighthearted entertainment, the choice does not seem so difficult to me.
