McCain looks like someone stapled his face on. And, he totally said Sarah Palin was a breast of fresh air. Did anyone else hear that? A breast of fresh air?!?!?!?! WTF.

I find it hilarious (in the way I find a campy horror movie hilarious, nervous laughter, the shakes'sweats'n'shits- ultimately unfunny) that McCain, when asked to talk about negative ad campaigns, took the opportunity in his answers, to Further Smear Obama.
It's like his advisers sat his robo ass down and were like, look pops, just throw in a few key slanderous phrases, and black eagle eyes of death, for those of us listening with only half an ear (including myself- I was recording other peoples reactions at a bar) and that's really all you need to worry about.

Also- who is Joe? what about Jolene? or Jodie? or Jo? That and the trade industry totally rules the world.

And finally- when McCain showed his "support" and "pride" in the people who attend his rallies , it was really like a stab in the face of proto-fascism, blinking lights, and cultural badges of who "we are", what "we stand for", and how we'll be trapped like rats in the hell corral if he gets within 100 ft. of the ovoff.

PS: what about the project runway 'final debate'? :!

okay, I was completely glued to the debate this time. It did feel like McCain and Obama were speaking totally different languages... we stared at each other trying to decipher McC's phrases, "did we just hear what he said? did he just say a sentence? should I have understood that?" etc.

... as when you are listening to somebody speak in another language that you understand somewhat, but you have to translate every sentence back into your own language, your brain is struggling to keep up. here, there doesn't seem like there's much to keep up with.

from the transcript, the two best quotes that kind of made sense, but then made you think, "wait, did he really just actually come out and say that?

on Joe Biden: "He voted against the first Gulf War. He voted against it and, obviously, we had to take Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait or it would've threatened the Middle Eastern world supply."

on mothers' health: "Just again, the example of the eloquence of Sen. Obama. He's health for the mother. You know, that's been stretched by the pro-abortion movement in America to mean almost anything. That's the extreme pro-abortion position, quote, 'health.' "

What? what? yeah. I would apologize for taking these out of context, but there was no context, that is pretty much it.
