i wonder about the role of the &quot;let&#039;s wipe israel off the map&quot; warcry from hamas and (parts of) iranian leadership...  did this yell erupt from deep within the collective psyche (ignoring for the moment the &quot;oh yeah?, is there such a thing as collective consciousnesses or psyches, ids, egos, superegos, y&#039;know?&quot; taunt ...) of hamas, of palestinians, of iranians, of arabic speaking middle easterns, of muslims, of various peoples living in occupied territories?  or was it an utterance whose repetition was intended to serve as a rallying cry?  it certainly has been a useful marketing tool, but for which side?</description>
